my weekend

just got back from Penang on Sat night!

It was a pretty fun company outing where all 8 of us just ate non stop and visited places of interest occasionally. One particular site, the Pinang Peranakan Museum, left an indelible impression on me. Not only was it the site where Little Nyonya was shot in a few scenes, the collection of antiques and Peranakan artefacts were just simply amazing.. Other than this, the food we ate was pretty good except that the taste doesn't really suit our taste buds. Guess we were expecting something more exciting and much more savoury rather than bland bak kut teh...

I didn't manage to bring my camera since my family will be away in malaysia during the same period. But i managed to kope some photos off ivan's blog. heh heh..

woke up at 2pm on Sunday, went for a short exco meeting and headed for the floorball bbq thereafter. The turnout and company was great with MIA people appearing like serene, say wai and caifen! really glad that they managed to make it and this time round, there was a well balanced number of guys and girls. guess this is the first successful gathering in a long while. Hope to see this more during our exco term ;)

oh anyway, i had henna done on my left hand and my neck.. the responses were bad so far. which i agree. they made me look more lian altogether with my hair. but its an experience for me and i love the henna design on my neck! ;)
